Hostage Survivor Liri Albag Reacts to Hamas Terrorist's Elimination
Liri Albag, a survivor of Hamas captivity, expressed relief and satisfaction following the elimination of Hamas terrorist Muhammad Jabein, who was involved in holding nine hostages in northern Gaza. Albag shared her feelings on social media, calling it a "crazy closing of a circle" and stating that "when such good news arrives, you can't hide the smile." She recounted that Jabein held her and fellow hostage Agam Berger for nearly a year.
Albag stated that while she could detail the suffering Jabein inflicted, she preferred not to give him more attention. Instead, she conveyed a message to him: "Rot in hell, you scoundrel. How great that you are no longer here." She recalled a past argument with Jabein about who would reach hell first, adding, "It's fun to know we were right."
The Shin Bet and the IDF announced last week that Jabein was eliminated in northern Gaza. He was identified as a commander in Hamas's military wing and had been a target due to his involvement in terrorist activities against Israel during the ongoing conflict.
In addition to Albag and Berger, Jabein held seven other hostages: Ziv and Gali Berman, Eitan Mor, Matan Angrest, Omri Miran, Keith Segal, and Alon Ahl.
