Fatal Crash on Route 90 Kills One, Injures Five
A multi-vehicle collision on Route 90 in the Jordan Valley on Friday evening resulted in the death of Abdullah Ibrahim Zaabi, 60, from Nazareth, and injuries to five others. The crash involved four vehicles and occurred near the Al-Fakhura neighborhood.
Emergency services, including Magen David Adom and the Israeli military's medical corps, responded to the scene. Paramedics pronounced Zaabi dead after finding him unresponsive with severe injuries. Two men, aged approximately 60 and 40, sustained serious injuries, including head and abdominal trauma, and were airlifted to a hospital.
A third man, around 30 years old, suffered moderate abdominal injuries and was also evacuated by helicopter. Two additional individuals sustained minor injuries and were transported by ambulance. The injured were taken to various hospitals for treatment.
Route 90 was closed in both directions following the incident. Israeli police have launched an investigation into the cause of the severe accident, with accident investigators examining the scene.
