Fatal Road Accident on Route 90 Claims Two Lives, Injures Five

A multi-vehicle collision on Route 90 near Jericho resulted in the death of two individuals and left five others injured, two critically. The deceased were identified as Abdullah Ibrahim Zaabi, 41, from Nazareth, and another man around 60 years old.

Emergency services, including Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics and helicopters, responded to the scene. They provided initial medical treatment to the injured.

Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the crash, which involved several vehicles. Route 90 was closed in both directions while accident investigators worked at the site.

Among the injured, two men in their 60s and 40s were airlifted to Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital in serious condition with head and abdominal injuries. Another man, approximately 30 years old, was transported by an Israeli military helicopter with moderate abdominal injuries. Two others sustained minor injuries and were taken by ambulance.
