Fatal Road Accident on Route 90 Claims One Life, Injures Five

A multi-vehicle collision on Route 90 in the Jordan Valley on Friday evening resulted in the death of Abdullah Ibrahim Zaabi, 60, from Nazareth, and injuries to five others. The accident involved four vehicles, causing significant damage to all.

Emergency services, including Magen David Adom and the Israeli military's medical corps, responded to the scene. Paramedics pronounced Zaabi dead at the site after finding him unresponsive with severe injuries. He was reportedly found in a vehicle that had veered off the road into a ditch.

Among the injured, two men, aged approximately 60 and 40, sustained serious injuries including head and abdominal trauma. They were evacuated by Magen David Adom and Israeli military helicopters to a hospital. A third man, around 30 years old, suffered moderate abdominal injuries and was also airlifted.

Two additional individuals sustained minor injuries and were transported to medical facilities by ambulance. The cause of the crash is under investigation by Israeli police, who have closed Route 90 in both directions near the accident site to facilitate the inquiry and rescue operations.
