One Missing, Two Rescued After Drowning Incident in Ashkelon
Search teams are currently attempting to locate a man who entered the sea in Ashkelon on Friday evening with two others and has not been seen since. The two individuals who swam with him were rescued from the water, one in serious condition and the other in mild condition. The initial report of the drowning was received by Magen David Adom (MDA) at 6:34 PM. MDA teams arrived at the scene and provided medical treatment to a 24-year-old man in serious condition and a 17-year-old in mild condition. A paramedic described arriving to find the 24-year-old pulled from the water, unconscious near the waterline. He received medical care, including respiratory support, and was evacuated by an MDA intensive care unit. The 17-year-old was also evacuated in mild condition. MDA teams remain on standby to provide medical assistance if needed for the missing individual.
