Three Drown Near Ashkelon Beach; One Critical, One Missing
Three individuals drowned near the Dalila beach in Ashkelon on Tuesday evening. A 24-year-old man was transported to Barzilai Hospital in serious condition after being pulled from the water unconscious, while a 17-year-old boy was treated for minor injuries. Emergency medical services, including Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics, responded to the scene and provided initial treatment.
Paramedics utilized a four-wheel-drive ambulance to access the difficult terrain near the beach. The 24-year-old received respiratory support and advanced medical care before being evacuated by an intensive care unit to the hospital. The 17-year-old also received treatment at the scene before being transported for further care.
Search efforts are ongoing for a third individual who remains missing. MDA teams are continuing their operations to locate the missing person, with rescue crews on standby to provide assistance if needed. The condition of the 24-year-old man remains critical.
