Three Drownings in Israel Leave One Dead and Two in Critical Condition
A 45-year-old man drowned at the Fishermen's Beach in Hadera on Saturday despite prolonged resuscitation efforts by Magen David Adom (MDA) teams. Senior paramedic Anas Agbaria reported that upon arrival, the man was unconscious, without pulse or breathing, and was rescued from the water with the help of a jet ski. Despite advanced medical interventions including CPR and medication, his death was confirmed at the scene.
Earlier, a woman around 50 years old drowned at the Rock Beach in Bat Yam and was evacuated to Wolfson Medical Center in critical condition. Senior MDA paramedics Kfir Versano and Doron Yaari, along with first aid provider Orian Versano, described performing CPR and administering six defibrillator shocks before transferring her to the hospital.
Additionally, an 18-year-old male drowned in a pool at Ein Bokek and was airlifted in serious condition to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba. The incident was reported at 15:39, and he was intubated and sedated during transport.
