Three Drownings in Israel Leave Two in Critical Condition Within 20 Minutes
On Saturday afternoon, three separate drowning incidents occurred in Israel, resulting in two individuals in critical condition and another in serious condition. Around 5 p.m., a woman in her 50s was pulled from the sea at HaSela Beach in Bat Yam unconscious and without a pulse. Magen David Adom paramedics performed CPR and used a defibrillator before transporting her in critical condition to Wolfson Medical Center in Holon. Senior paramedics Kfir Versano and Doron Yaari, along with first responder Oriyan Versano, reported arriving to find the woman unresponsive and continuing resuscitation efforts on site.
Approximately 20 minutes later, a 45-year-old man drowned at the Fishermen's Beach in Hadera. Paramedics administered CPR, and his condition is also critical. Earlier in the day, an 18-year-old man drowned in a pool at Ein Bokek in southern Israel. He was airlifted by helicopter to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba in serious condition and remains sedated and ventilated.
Additional drowning incidents were reported involving a 6-year-old boy in a public pool in Holon, who is in critical condition, and a 25-year-old man who died after drowning at a beach in Rishon Lezion.
