Three Drowning Incidents in Hours Leave One Man Critical and Two Young Men Hurt
Three separate drowning incidents were reported within hours on Friday along Israel’s Mediterranean coast. In Ashkelon, a man in his 40s drowned at Delilah Beach and was taken to Barzilai Hospital in critical condition. MDA said he was pulled from the water unconscious, with no pulse and no breathing, and crews carried out prolonged resuscitation before evacuation. MDA medic Mitkal al-Zeil said, “We were led to a man in his 40s who was unconscious, without a pulse and without breathing after being pulled from the water. We provided life-saving medical treatment, including prolonged CPR, and evacuated him to hospital in critical condition.”
