Paramedics Declare Death of Man Drowned at Hadera Fishing Beach
On Saturday, paramedics from Magen David Adom (MDA) declared the death of a man in his mid-40s who drowned at the Fishing Beach in Hadera. Senior paramedic Anas Agbaria reported that upon arrival, the man was found unconscious, without pulse or breathing, near the waterline. Witnesses said the man was rescued from the water using a jet ski. Despite advanced resuscitation efforts including ventilation, chest compressions, and medication, the man's condition remained critical and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Earlier the same day, a woman in her 40s drowned at the Rock Beach in Bat Yam. MDA paramedics provided emergency treatment and performed resuscitation efforts on her at the location. The outcomes of her case were not detailed in the report.
The incidents highlight ongoing risks at Israeli beaches and the critical role of emergency medical services in responding to drowning emergencies.
