71-Year-Old Man Drowns Near Mikhmoret Beach in Hadera Area
A 71-year-old man drowned near Mikhmoret Beach in the Hadera area on Sunday morning. He was pulled unconscious from the water and despite resuscitation efforts by Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics, his death was confirmed at the scene. The emergency call was received at 08:59 by MDA's 101 dispatch center. Senior paramedic Maor Brantz from MDA's motorcycle unit reported that upon arrival, rescuers found the man lying near the waterline receiving initial medical treatment from lifeguards. Paramedics continued advanced resuscitation efforts, but the man showed no pulse or breathing, and his death was declared at the scene.
