One Missing, Two Rescued After Drowning Incident in Ashkelon

Search teams are actively looking for a man who entered the sea in Ashkelon on Friday evening with two others and has not been seen since. The two individuals who swam with him were rescued from the water, one in serious condition and the other lightly injured. The initial report of the incident reached MDA (Magen David Adom) emergency services at 6:34 PM. Paramedics arrived at the scene and provided medical treatment to a 24-year-old man in serious condition and a 17-year-old in light condition. "We arrived at the location with a 4x4 ambulance specialized for difficult-to-reach areas," said MDA paramedic Yaron Kapach. "We saw a 24-year-old man who had been pulled from the water, lying near the waterline unconscious. We provided him with medical treatment, including assistance with ventilation, and evacuated him in an MDA intensive care unit. We also evacuated a 17-year-old boy in light condition. They told us there was another missing person in the water, and MDA teams are prepared to provide medical treatment and assistance if needed."
