New Poll Shows Netanyahu's Likud Gaining, Opposition Parties Flounder

A new poll released by Channel 14 on September 23, 2026, indicates a strengthening position for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party, which gains one seat to reach 32 mandates. The "Yashar" party, led by Gadi Eisenkot, also shows significant growth, adding two mandates to reach 22, solidifying its second-place standing. Shas also saw an increase, securing 11 mandates and becoming the third-largest party in the Knesset.

The poll, conducted by NEXT DATA with 647 respondents, reveals shifts among other parties. The Democrats rise to 9 mandates from 8, while Naftali Bennett's "Beiteinu" party drops from 9 to 7. United Torah Judaism loses a mandate, also falling to 7. Religious Zionism, Identity, Yisrael Beiteinu, and the Joint List each maintain 7 mandates.

Further down, Otzma Yehudit declines from 8 to 6 mandates, and Ra'am holds steady with 5. Notably, Ofer Winter's "Amcha Israel" party falls below the electoral threshold, dropping from 2.6% to 1.9%, failing to secure any mandates. Other parties like the Reservists-Economic party (2.2%), the Haredi Public (0.5%), Blue and White (0.3%), and Noam (0.1%) also remain below the threshold.

In terms of bloc support, the right-wing bloc slightly decreases from 64 to 63 mandates but retains a majority. The left-wing bloc increases from 44 to 45 mandates, while the two Arab parties collectively hold 12 mandates.
