New Poll Shows "Miluimnikim" Party Surpassing Electoral Threshold

A new poll conducted by the Midgam Institute and aired on Keshet-12 on Tuesday, September 22, indicates a significant shift in voter intentions if elections were held today. The "Yashar" party leads with 23 mandates, followed by "Likud" with 20. Other parties projected to enter the Knesset include "Be'ahad" (13 mandates), "Yisrael Beiteinu" (9), "Democratim" (9), "Yahadut HaTorah" (8), the Joint List (7), "Shas" (7), "Otzma Yehudit" (6), "Tzionut Datit" (5), "Ra'am" (5), "Amcha Yisrael" (4), and "Miluimnikim" (4).

The poll suggests the current coalition bloc would secure 50 seats, while the opposition, excluding parties led by Hendel and Zalicha, would gain 66 seats. Excluding Arab parties, which together receive 12 mandates, the opposition bloc would hold 54 seats.

When asked about preferred leadership for prime minister, Benny Gantz (referred to as Ayzenkot in the source) edged out Benjamin Netanyahu, with 41% of respondents favoring Gantz compared to 38% for Netanyahu. A significant portion, 15%, believed neither was suitable.

In a head-to-head comparison between Netanyahu and Naftali Bennett, Netanyahu received 41% support versus Bennett's 37%. Notably, 19% found neither suitable for the role.

Comparing Netanyahu with Avigdor Lieberman, 38% supported Netanyahu, while 28% favored Lieberman. Another 28% stated neither was fit for the position.
