A promotional clip released by the channel stated Eisenkot was "the boy from Afula who reached the top of the IDF and then the politician who seeks to portray himself as the 'responsible adult.'" Eisenkot responded on social media, pointing out a factual error in the promo. "You haven't broadcast a minute of the 'investigation' yet and here's the first lie: I love Afula, but I was born in Tiberias and grew up in Eilat," he wrote, highlighting that he was born in Tiberias and raised in Eilat, not Afula.

The biographical inaccuracy in the promo has sparked widespread reactions online, raising questions about the thoroughness of the channel's investigation. This error follows previous journalistic missteps by Channel 14 concerning military and legal matters. In one notable incident, the channel presented "exclusive footage" of a reporter questioning a woman identified as Military Advocate General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi, claiming she was evading his questions. However, sharp-eyed viewers quickly identified the woman as an unrelated passerby who merely resembled Tomer-Yerushalmi.
