Man Charged with Attempted Murder for Stabbing Ex-Wife's Partner
The State Prosecutor's Office has filed an attempted murder indictment against Eliran Salmi, a resident of Beit Shemesh, for allegedly stabbing his ex-wife's partner. The incident occurred on the night of August 30th, when Salmi reportedly waited outside his ex-wife's home. Upon the partner's arrival, Salmi allegedly threatened him, warning that he would "take him out with a charge" if he called the police.
About an hour later, Salmi returned to the residence armed with a kitchen knife. He climbed onto an awning near the entrance and entered the home. According to the indictment, Salmi then stabbed the victim twice, shouting "Die!" He proceeded to stab the man three more times in the back and bit his ear.
The indictment was filed with the Jerusalem District Court.
