Elderly Man Pulled Unconscious from Sea in Netanya, Critical Condition
An 80-year-old man was pulled unconscious from the sea near Herzl Beach in Netanya on Tuesday. Emergency medical teams from United Hatzalah provided initial treatment at the scene. Bystanders reported that the man had drowned. Following resuscitation efforts, which continued en route, he was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
Yakov Cohen, a United Hatzalah paramedic, stated, "With the assistance of a mobile intensive care unit team and additional paramedics, we performed resuscitation efforts at the scene, and afterward, he was evacuated to the hospital while resuscitation continued, in critical condition."
