Man, 70, Drowns at Netanya Beach, Fights for Life
A man, approximately 70 years old, drowned Tuesday morning at Herzl Beach in Netanya and was evacuated to Laniado Hospital in critical condition. Emergency services received a report around 9:30 AM about a man pulled from the water unconscious near the beach. Responders found the man without a pulse or breathing and immediately began resuscitation efforts, including CPR and artificial respiration. He was then transported by a Magen David Adom intensive care ambulance to Laniado Hospital in the city, initially reported in critical condition. Paramedics described finding the man on the shoreline and initiating life-saving measures. During resuscitation, the man's pulse returned, and after stabilization, he was sedated, intubated, and transported to the hospital, with his condition described as serious and unstable.
