Elderly Man Drowns at Netanya Beach, Dies After Rescue Efforts

An approximately 70-year-old man drowned Tuesday morning at a beach in Netanya, a city on Israel's central coast.
Lifeguards pulled the man from the water unconscious and initiated resuscitation efforts. He was subsequently transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
Despite the emergency medical response, the man's condition remained severe upon arrival at the hospital.
