Man Pulled Unconscious From Eilat Beach in Serious Condition
A man, approximately 60 years old, was found unconscious and in serious condition after being pulled from the waters of a beach in Eilat on Saturday. Magen David Adom (MDA) reported that its teams received a call at 12:15 PM regarding the man being retrieved from the sea, unresponsive. Paramedics immediately began resuscitation efforts, including chest compressions, artificial respiration, and administering medication, which successfully restored his pulse.
Following initial stabilization, the man was transported by an MDA intensive care ambulance to Yoseftal Hospital in Eilat, where his condition is described as serious. Ronny Zapora, a paramedic with MDA's motorcycle unit, stated, "When we arrived at the scene, we saw the man lying near the shoreline, unconscious, without a pulse or breathing, after being pulled from the water. We began providing medical treatment, which included chest compressions, artificial respiration, and administering medication. After his heart resumed beating, we transferred him to the MDA intensive care vehicle and evacuated him to the hospital, his condition is serious."
