Netanyahu Vows To Pursue All Involved in West Bank Terror Attack
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on Sunday that no terrorist involved in the deadly shooting attack in the West Bank settlement of Neve Tzuf, which killed a man in his 30s, will be spared. He ordered security forces to continue the manhunt for the perpetrator and to demolish the attacker's home.
"Our security forces are currently pursuing the despicable terrorist who carried out the murderous attack in Benjamin," Netanyahu said. "No terrorist is immune, not even those who aided them. We will settle accounts with all of them, in Gaza, in Lebanon, and in Judea and Samaria."
Netanyahu also announced that Israeli forces had simultaneously eliminated a terrorist attempting a similar attack in Samaria. He instructed the IDF and Shin Bet to deploy reinforced forces in Judea and Samaria, impose blockades, and conduct offensive operations and arrests to ensure Israeli citizens' safety. He reiterated the order for the immediate demolition of the terrorist's home.
Defense Minister Israel Katz extended condolences to the victim's family and praised soldiers at the Ganim checkpoint who neutralized one terrorist and captured another, preventing a further attack. He affirmed that the IDF and security forces are prepared to defend Israel's borders and citizens against enemies seeking to carry out attacks on the holiest day for the Jewish people, Yom Kippur.
