Netanyahu Vows Harsh Response to West Bank Terror Attack

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced a series of stringent security measures following a deadly shooting attack near the settlement of Neve Tzuf in the Binyamin region. The attack resulted in the death of Natanel Shachru, a resident of the Alei Zahav settlement, who is survived by his wife and six children. Netanyahu stated he has ordered the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Shin Bet security agency to intensify their operations in Judea and Samaria, including implementing blockades, conducting offensive operations, and making arrests to ensure the safety of Israeli citizens. He also directed the immediate demolition of the terrorist's home. Former Prime Minister and leader of the opposition party HaYachad, Naftali Bennett, stated that citizen security must be guaranteed everywhere in Israel. Avigdor Lieberman, head of the Yisrael Beiteinu party, also commented on the attack, calling for IDF forces to enter the terrorist's home village and completely destroy it.
