Israeli Man Arrested for Attempting to Smuggle Synthetic Drugs from Thailand
Israeli police have arrested a resident of Abu Ghosh on suspicion of attempting to smuggle over two kilograms of a synthetic drug, identified as MDMB, into the country. The substance reportedly arrived in a courier shipment from Thailand, concealed within bottles that were labeled as liquid for printer ink.
Customs investigators at Ben Gurion Airport became suspicious of the shipment during an initial inspection, leading to the discovery of the alleged drug. The suspect, during his interrogation, claimed he was unaware of the package's contents. He stated that a relative living in Thailand had asked him to collect the parcel for them.
