Beitar Jerusalem expect to have a full training squad this week, as the remaining foreign players are set to land in Israel in the next 48 hours. Those already in the country are Eugene Ansah, Johnbosco Kalu, Nana Antwi and Ailson Tavares, and they will soon be joined by Miguel Silva, Brian Karabali, Luka Gadrani and Boris Ano.
The club also plans to hold talks with Gadrani and Karabali over new contracts. Both are asking for a significant salary increase, and Beitar intend to improve their terms in exchange for extending their deals.
There is optimism around Sean Weissman, who has several offers from abroad, but Beitar believe he may still choose to return to Israel. Weissman promised to give an answer in the coming days. If he declines, Beitar will look to sign another foreign attacker.
On the training ground, midfielder Daniel Vorko, who arrived from Hapoel Ramat Gan, has stood out so far, along with Ansah, who has arrived highly motivated to succeed in Jerusalem. Omer Atzili is also gradually returning to full fitness after suffering a quadriceps injury in the final round of last season against Hapoel Tel Aviv.
