Fatal Hit-and-Run in Hadera Ruled Criminal Attack, Not Accident

Police in Hadera have determined that the death of a 17-year-old boy, Amihai Atiya from the Itamar settlement in Samaria, was not a traffic accident but a criminal incident. Preliminary investigations indicate the incident began with a dispute between parties, during which a vehicle intentionally struck the teenager. Following the collision, shots were fired at the vehicle. The victim sustained severe injuries from the impact and later died. The driver of the car sustained a minor gunshot wound and received medical treatment. Police emphasized that the current assessment points to a criminal motive, and there is no suspicion of a terrorist attack.
