Man Charged with Assaulting Ex-Wife, Threatening Her Family
A man from Kafr Qasim, in his 30s, has been indicted for threatening and assaulting his estranged wife. The investigation began last week after a report of a man attempting to force a woman into a car in the city, using violence and smashing the vehicle's window with a concrete slab.
According to investigation findings, the couple is separated. The suspect allegedly approached the woman near the college where she studies with their young children, attempting to persuade her to return to him. When she refused, he is accused of attacking her, strangling her, lifting her, and trying to force her into his car while she struggled to escape.
During the incident, the suspect allegedly threatened her, saying, "If you don't come with me, I will kill your brothers, shoot them, and kidnap you to the territories." Police quickly located and arrested the suspect using technological means. Following the investigation, the Central District Prosecutor's Unit filed an indictment against him for the alleged offenses.
