Kfar Qassem Man Charged With Threatening, Assaulting Ex-Wife
A resident of Kfar Qassem, in his 30s, has been charged with threatening and assaulting his ex-wife after she refused to reconcile with him, police announced Thursday. Investigators determined that last week, the defendant went to the college where his ex-wife studies, accompanied by their minor children, and attempted to persuade her to resume their relationship.
When she refused, he allegedly attacked her, choked her, lifted her up, and tried to force her into his car while she struggled and attempted to escape. Simultaneously, he threatened her, stating that if she refused to come with him, he would "kill her brothers, shoot them, and kidnap her to the territories."
The investigation began last week following a report of a man attempting to force a woman into a vehicle, using violence and smashing the car windows with a concrete slab. Following the investigation, the Central District Attorney's Unit filed an indictment against him for the offenses attributed to him.
