Maccabi Tel Aviv is expected to announce by Monday that Kenny Miller will remain head coach for the 2026/27 season. Miller, who replaced Roni Daia late last season, will continue on the touchline after steering the club through the end of the campaign.
The Scottish coach’s first major role as a senior head coach came at Maccabi Tel Aviv, after previously working in several jobs alongside Daia, whom he followed to the club. In seven matches in charge, he led Maccabi to the State Cup title with a win over Hapoel Be'er Sheva and secured a place in the Europa League qualifying rounds.
Miller’s record in those seven games was three wins, two draws and two losses. The victories were 4-0 over Hapoel Petah Tikva, 3-0 over Maccabi Haifa and 2-1 over Hapoel Be'er Sheva in the cup final. The club’s decision to keep him also came after other candidates dropped out and because he already knows the current squad.
Miller has already gone through two interviews. He is also aware that Dor Peretz may leave at present, and that Roy Revivo is determined to move abroad.
