Israeli Forces Conduct Raids, Arrests in West Bank; Settlers Attack Palestinian Property

Israeli military forces raided the city of Yatta, south of Hebron, early Wednesday, accompanied by a paratrooper landing. Simultaneously, settlers attacked Palestinian homes and agricultural facilities in the surrounding areas. Local sources reported that settlers set fire to a home and an agricultural room in the village of Tuwani in Masafer Yatta, also spray-painting racist slogans. These actions coincided with settler movements in southern Yatta aimed at expanding a settlement outpost. In Wadi al-Rakham, settlers reportedly broke into a home, cut, and burned the main power cable supplying the area, impacting essential services.

In Hebron, Israeli forces arrested a 15-year-old boy, Yazan Murad Saleh Ghaith, and an 18-year-old man, Mohammed Issam Fathi Al-Rajabi. The two were detained for over four hours in the Al-Ikhwa Street area before their arrest. Soldiers also searched homes and reviewed surveillance footage from businesses and residences. Military checkpoints were established at city entrances, towns, villages, and camps, with main and secondary roads blocked using gates, concrete blocks, and earthen barriers.

Israeli forces, including armored vehicles and infantry, also entered Nablus and surrounding towns and villages, with a significant military presence in various neighborhoods. In the Balata Al-Balad area, forces fired stun grenades, according to local reports. Settlers were also reported to be present near Palestinian homes in the Ein al-Faris area of the northern Jordan Valley.

These events occurred amid ongoing incursions, arrests, and settler activities across the West Bank, including attacks on property, infrastructure, and the imposition of movement restrictions.
