Israeli Forces Arrest Palestinians, Settlers Attack West Bank Residents

Israeli forces conducted raids and arrests across multiple towns and refugee camps in the West Bank on Tuesday, detaining several Palestinians and subjecting residents to field interrogations. The military operation, which began early Tuesday morning, involved raiding dozens of homes. In the northern Jerusalem area, forces entered the town of Anata and Shuafat refugee camp, searching homes and vehicles and making arrests.

In Jenin, Israeli troops raided the town of Al-Zababdeh, arresting Ahmed Wael Sharqawi after raiding his home, and also entered Methalun, raiding homes and making arrests. In Tulkarm, forces raided the Zakat Committee building and fired stun grenades in the Artaf district, also entering Shuwayka district and arresting released prisoner Ra'fat Al-Nasif. In Hebron, forces raided the town of Dura and the Jabri neighborhood, conducting arrests and mistreating citizens. In Qalqilya, forces raided homes in Hajjah and the home of a Palestinian killed by settlers the previous day. In Nablus, forces entered the towns of Qabalan and Aqraba, and the village of Osreen, raiding homes in Yatma and entering Kafr Qalil, with clashes reported in Aqraba. Israeli bulldozers continued to uproot olive trees in the Qabalan plain.

Concurrently, Israeli settlers escalated their attacks across the West Bank. Settlers raided and plowed citizens' land in the eastern Al-Mughayyir plain, and vandalized and stole from an agricultural facility near Sinjil. In Tubas, settlers blocked the road to Khirbet Yarza, impeding movement. Settlers also threw stones at Palestinian vehicles near the tunnel between Al-Jib and Biddu, northwest of Jerusalem. In Nablus, two Palestinians were injured by settlers who attacked homes in the Mas'oudiya area of Burqa, with local sources identifying the injured as Mohammed Al-Khalil and his son. These attacks come amid a continuous escalation of Israeli military incursions and settler violence, exacerbating restrictions on Palestinian movement and increasing attacks on property and land.
