Israeli Forces Conduct Widespread Raids, Arrests Across West Bank and Jerusalem

Israeli forces launched extensive raids and incursions across multiple areas in the West Bank and East Jerusalem early Thursday. The operations, which included confrontations and field arrests, saw homes searched and their contents disturbed, with residents interrogated for hours. In the Ramallah governorate, forces raided the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of the city. Simultaneously, a settler, protected by Israeli soldiers, attacked a home in the village, attempting to steal sheep. Israeli forces also detained several children inside the home of the family of Khalil Abu Alia, a youth killed by Israeli fire in the village. In the Nablus governorate, Israeli forces entered Nablus city and the "Sama Nablus" area, as well as the towns of Qusra and Sebastia, and the village of Asira al-Qibliya, with these incursions accompanied by raids and arrests of several young men. During the raid on Nablus city, Israeli forces detonated a "lathe." In Sebastia, northwest of Nablus, forces arrested the mother and sister of prisoner Qutaiba Azem. They also raided a home in Asira al-Qibliya, arresting Nidal Khaled Asayra and youth Kanaan Mohammed Ahmed. The village of Duma, southeast of Nablus, also experienced raids and arrests. Similar operations occurred in Jericho city and its refugee camps. In occupied Jerusalem, forces raided the towns of Al-Ram and Anata, north of the city. The raids extended south to the Hebron governorate, where forces entered Dura city and arrested journalist Rami Nofal from the town of Idna, west of Hebron. Forces also raided a home near Yafa School in the Hebronite Quarter in the town of As-Samu, south of Hebron, as part of ongoing operations in the governorate.
