Israeli Forces Raid West Bank Cities; Settlers Attack Palestinian Property

Israeli forces conducted raids in the West Bank cities of Hebron and Nablus early Wednesday. In Hebron, soldiers were deployed via air and ground, with forces entering the city of Yatta south of the city. During the Hebron operation, Israeli forces arrested a 15-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man after detaining them for over four hours. The forces also searched homes and reviewed surveillance camera recordings in the area. Additionally, military checkpoints were established on the entrances to Hebron and its surrounding villages and camps, with roads blocked by barriers.

In Nablus, Israeli forces, accompanied by armored vehicles and infantry, entered the city and its surrounding towns and villages. Soldiers were deployed in several neighborhoods, and stun grenades were fired during the raid on the Balata neighborhood. Meanwhile, settlers attacked Palestinian property in southern Yatta, including burning down a home and an agricultural room and writing racist slogans in the village of Al-Tawana in the Masafer Yatta area. Settlers also reportedly moved equipment to expand a settlement outpost and cut and burned a main power cable supplying homes in Wadi Al-Rakheem.

Further reports indicated settlers were present near Palestinian homes in the Ein Al-Ghazal Al-Farsiya area of the northern Jordan Valley, though details were not immediately available. These events follow similar incursions and attacks reported in other West Bank areas earlier in the week.
