Israeli Forces Conduct Raids, Arrests Across West Bank and Jerusalem

Israeli forces carried out widespread raids and arrests across the West Bank and East Jerusalem on Wednesday morning. The operations, which included searches of dozens of homes, resulted in confrontations in some areas, leading to injuries and cases of suffocation. Israeli forces detained several Palestinians after ransacking their homes and causing damage.

In the Tulkarm Governorate, six Palestinians were arrested. The detainees were identified as brothers Hemam and Khitab Ahmed Matrouk from Tulkarm city, Salim Abu Khousa from Dhanaiba suburb, Hamza Wahdan and Amr Ghaleb Abu Zeitoun from Deir al-Ghusun town, and Ismail Aufi from Anabta town, a resident of the Tulkarm refugee camp.

In the Nablus Governorate, Israeli forces raided the "Bridge" area in Huwara town and the village of Tell, arresting resident Salem Yassin Asida from his home. They also arrested Atallah Hashash in the Rujeib housing area and Rami Al-Tirawi in the Ain Kakub neighborhood.

In the Jenin Governorate, forces entered the residential area near the American Arab University and raided a dwelling housing displaced individuals from the Jenin refugee camp. Tarek Ghanem was arrested after his home in Kafr Qud village was raided.

Raids also occurred in the towns of Ball'a north of Tulkarm and Azzun east of Qalqilya. In Hebron, southern West Bank, Israeli forces also conducted raids. Separately, settlers stormed the Yirza gathering east of Tubas.

In East Jerusalem, Israeli forces continued their operations for a second day in the Shuafat refugee camp and the town of Anata. In the Silwan neighborhood, forces blocked the entrances to the Ain al-Lawza and Al-Bustan neighborhoods and raided the home of Abu Yusuf Al-Rashq, reportedly in preparation for its demolition.
