Hamas Commander of Rafah Brigade Killed in Gaza
Palestinian journalists and family members have confirmed the death of Nael Abu Eid, identified as the commander of Hamas's Rafah Brigade, also known as "Abu Attia." Hamas has invited Gaza residents to attend his funeral, which is scheduled to take place in Khan Younis, departing from the Al-Nasser Hospital mosque after the midday prayer.
Abu Eid was previously photographed with senior Hamas officials who were eliminated in earlier Israeli military operations. These included Ahmed al-Jaabari, killed during Operation Pillar of Defense, and Ra'ed al-Attar, who was killed during Operation Protective Edge.
