Israel Braces for Cooler Weather After Unseasonably Warm Spell
Israel is set to experience a significant shift in weather patterns as unseasonably warm temperatures, characteristic of summer, begin to recede. While Thursday, September 17th, will remain mostly clear with temperatures still above average for the season, especially in mountainous and inland areas, a noticeable change is expected by Friday.
On Friday, September 18th, skies will be partly cloudy, and temperatures will drop, particularly in the mountains and inland regions, returning to seasonal norms. Localized rain is possible in northern and central Israel, accompanied by strengthening winds.
The cooler trend will continue into Saturday, September 19th, with partly cloudy skies and a slight further decrease in temperatures. Light, localized rain or drizzle may occur in northern Israel and the coastal plain until the afternoon. Highs on Saturday are forecast to range from 21-33°C in Jerusalem, 25-30°C in Tel Aviv and Haifa, and up to 36°C in Afula.
