Israel Braces for Temperature Drop and Potential Rain After Heatwave

Israel is set to experience a significant shift in weather patterns as a heatwave, characterized by temperatures higher than usual for the season, is expected to break by the weekend. The Meteorological Service forecasts that after a clear to partly cloudy night on Tuesday, Wednesday will remain mostly clear with no significant temperature changes, continuing the unseasonably warm conditions, particularly in the mountains and inland areas.

Thursday will see a slight decrease in temperatures, especially in the mountains and inland regions, though they will still remain above average for this time of year. The weather is expected to become pleasant after morning clouds dissipate.

By Friday, a more noticeable drop in temperatures is anticipated, bringing them back to seasonal norms, particularly in the mountains and inland areas. The northern and central parts of the country may experience localized rain, accompanied by strengthening winds. The weekend forecast for Saturday indicates partly cloudy skies with a further slight temperature decrease. Light, localized rain or drizzle is possible in northern Israel and the coastal plain until the afternoon.
