New Poll Shows Netanyahu Bloc Maintaining 64-Seat Majority

A new poll released by Channel 14 indicates stability in the Israeli political landscape, with the right-wing bloc led by Benjamin Netanyahu securing a projected 64 seats in the Knesset. The poll, conducted by NEXT DATA with 483 respondents and analyzed by Shlomo Filber, shows no change in the bloc distribution compared to a previous survey from September 9th. The right-wing bloc holds 64 seats, the left-wing bloc 44, and Arab parties 12.

The Likud party remains the largest faction with 30 seats, a one-seat decrease from the prior poll. Gadi Eisenkot's party, Yisrael, also loses a seat, falling to 21. Shas is projected as the third-largest party with 10 seats, unchanged. Other parties include the Democrats with 9 seats, and United Torah Judaism, Otzma Yehudit, and Religious Zionism-Identity each with 8 seats. The Joint List is expected to win 7 seats, Yisrael Beiteinu 6, and Ra'am 5.

Notably, the parties of former IDF General Ofer Winter and former ministers Yoaz Hendel and Yaron Ze'evkha failed to cross the electoral threshold. Winter's "Amcha Israel" party garnered 2.3% of the vote, slightly up from 2.1% previously, but still below the required 3.25% threshold. Hendel and Ze'evkha's "HaMeyuladanim / HaKalkalit" (The Reservists / The Economic) improved from 1.4% to 2.1%, also insufficient to pass the threshold. Other parties like Blue and White, Noam, and Moty Leitner's Haredi party received minimal support.

In terms of leadership preference, Netanyahu continues to lead Gadi Eisenkot. Netanyahu is favored by 51% of respondents for Prime Minister, consistent with the previous poll, while Eisenkot gains one point to 35%. In a head-to-head matchup, Netanyahu leads Eisenkot 53% to 47%. Naftali Bennett's support dropped to 9%, and Avigdor Lieberman's rose to 5%.
