Ex-Mossad Chief Yossi Cohen Joins Quantum X Labs Advisory Board

Former Mossad chief Yossi Cohen has been appointed president of the scientific advisory board for Quantum X Labs Inc., the company announced Tuesday. Cohen, who led Israel's intelligence agency from 2016 to 2021 and previously served as National Security Advisor from 2013 to 2016, will guide the company's scientific and strategic direction. His role will involve evaluating the company's technological avenues, with a particular focus on applications for security and critical infrastructure.

Cohen will collaborate with other board members, including Professor Oren Korland from the Technion and Professor Oren Raz from the Weizmann Institute of Science. Together, they will shape the company's initiatives in quantum computing, quantum error correction, quantum software, quantum cybersecurity, and quantum sensing. Quantum X Labs and its subsidiaries specialize in quantum, computing, and artificial intelligence solutions for organizations.

The company is developing technologies such as a neutral atom-based computing platform, an AI-integrated architecture for quantum error correction, and the Quantum Gyro, a quantum gyroscope chip component designed for GPS-denied navigation. Their work also extends to atomic clocks for precise timing, quantum cybersecurity, nuclear simulations, and life sciences.
