Modzitz Rebbe Undergoes Heart Procedure After Refusing Hospitalization on Holiday

The Modzitz Rebbe underwent a successful cardiac catheterization procedure on Monday morning after experiencing a health decline on Rosh Hashanah. He had been hospitalized on the eve of the Jewish New Year after feeling unwell at his home. The Rebbe initially requested not to be transported to the Sheba Medical Center, but was instead taken to Mayanei Hayeshua Medical Center in Bnei Brak.

Despite his condition, the Rebbe insisted on walking to his synagogue on Rosh Hashanah morning for prayers, consulting with doctors who recommended urgent tests. He even led the Musaf prayer service, a tradition for the Modzitz Rebbes. Following the holiday, he was readmitted to the hospital, where the catheterization was performed.

Following the procedure, the public, particularly his followers, has been called upon to continue praying for his complete and swift recovery. The Rebbe's full Hebrew name for prayer purposes is Chaim Shaul ben Beyla Rachel.
