Beitar Jerusalem Loans Promising Youngster Ori Azoulay from Maccabi Tel Aviv

Beitar Jerusalem has finalized the loan of 21-year-old midfielder Ori Azoulay from Maccabi Tel Aviv, a deal first reported by Ynet. The loan agreement includes a purchase option for Beitar at the end of the season. The club is hopeful that Azoulay, who developed in Maccabi Tel Aviv's youth system, will realize his significant potential.

"He has received the opportunity of a lifetime," sources within Beitar Jerusalem stated. "This is his time to prove himself so we can acquire him at the end of the season. Everything depends on him. If he wants to be a significant player in the biggest team of his career, it's in his hands." Azoulay is set to join his new team for training on Tuesday.

The financial terms stipulate that Beitar Jerusalem will pay NIS 100,000 for the loan. At the season's conclusion, two scenarios exist: either a mandatory purchase of NIS 900,000 if Azoulay is involved in ten goals, or Beitar Jerusalem will have the sole discretion to purchase him for NIS 900,000 if he does not meet the goal-involvement clause.

Beitar Jerusalem aims to build on their recent victory against Bnei Sakhnin when they face Maccabi Petah Tikva on Tuesday evening. Maccabi Petah Tikva, after an initial two-win streak, suffered a loss in their last match. Beitar will be without injured defenders Nantes Antwi and Yarden Cohen, with Roye Elimlech and Timothy Muzie expected to fill in.
