Young Man Dies in Serious Multi-Vehicle Crash in Northern Israel

A 27-year-old man, Majd Noufal Half, from the village of Half Umm Rashid in the Galilee region of northern Israel, was killed last night in a severe traffic accident on Highway 762 near the village of Ibtin. Emergency services arrived at the scene and pronounced him dead due to his critical injuries.

In the same collision, a woman in her 40s sustained moderate injuries, including to her abdomen and lower limbs, and was transported to Rambam Hospital in Haifa. The accident involved the collision of two vehicles, according to paramedics, and was described as very serious.

Fire and rescue services from the Kiryat station responded to a complex incident involving three vehicles. One car sustained minor damage, another was severely damaged, and a third vehicle split in half, with a portion falling into a four-meter-deep ditch. Firefighters used special equipment and lighting to rescue the moderately injured woman from the ditch.

Additional individuals were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The deceased was found within the section of the vehicle that had fallen into the ditch. Police have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the crash, with accident investigators and officers from the Kiryat Ata station collecting evidence at the scene.
