Fatal Car Crash Near Haifa Claims One Life, Injures Another
A man, approximately 30 years old, was killed and a woman, around 40, sustained moderate injuries in a two-vehicle collision on Route 762 near the town of Rekhasim, close to Haifa. The incident occurred on Sunday evening.
Emergency services, including MDA paramedics and police accident investigators, responded to the scene. MDA reported receiving the call at 8:54 PM. Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene after finding him with severe injuries. The woman, who was trapped in one of the vehicles, suffered injuries to her abdomen and lower limbs. She was treated by paramedics and transported to Rambam Hospital.
Police investigators from the Asher region have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the fatal crash. Officers from the Kiryat Ata station are present at the scene, collecting evidence and working to determine the cause of the collision.
