Fatal Car Crash Near Haifa Leaves One Dead, One Seriously Injured
A man in his 30s was killed and a woman in her 40s was seriously injured in a head-on collision between their vehicles on Highway 762 near the Rakefet local council, close to Kiryat Tivon. Emergency medical teams from Magen David Adom (MDA) responded to the scene. The woman was evacuated to Rambam Hospital in Haifa, while the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
An MDA paramedic, Avi Boyer, described the incident as a "very serious car accident" involving two vehicles. He stated that the woman was trapped in one vehicle, suffering from moderate injuries to her abdomen and lower limbs. The man in the second vehicle sustained severe injuries, and despite medical efforts, he showed no signs of life and his death was confirmed.
