Fatal Car Crash Near Rekhasim Leaves One Dead, One Seriously Injured
A man, approximately 30 years old, was killed and a woman, around 40, sustained serious injuries in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 762 near Rekhasim. Emergency medical services responded to the scene, where paramedics worked to treat the injured.
According to MDA (Magen David Adom) emergency medical technician Avi Boyar, the crash involved a severe impact between two cars. A woman in one vehicle was trapped and found in moderate condition with injuries to her abdomen and lower limbs. In the second vehicle, the man, who was about 30, suffered critical injuries. Despite medical efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The seriously injured woman was transported by MDA to Rambam Hospital in Haifa for further treatment.
