Fatal Crash Near Rekhasim Claims One Life, Injures Another
A man, approximately 30 years old, was killed and a woman, around 40, sustained moderate injuries in a severe car accident on Highway 762 near Rekhasim on Tuesday. Emergency medical teams from Magen David Adom (MDA) responded to the scene, where they pronounced the man dead.
The woman was trapped in one of the vehicles involved in the collision between two cars. Paramedics treated her for injuries to her abdomen and lower limbs before transporting her to Rambam Hospital. Her condition was described as moderate.
An MDA emergency medical responder, Avi Boyar, described the scene as a "very severe car accident." He noted that the male victim in the second vehicle had suffered "very severe injuries" and, despite medical efforts, was found to be without signs of life, leading to the determination of death at the scene.
