Car Crash Near Rekhasim Kills 30-Year-Old Man, Injures Woman
A 30-year-old man died and a 40-year-old woman was injured in a severe car accident on Highway 762 near Rekhasim on Tuesday evening. The collision involved two vehicles.
Magen David Adom received a report of the incident at 8:54 PM. Paramedics pronounced the young man dead at the scene due to critical injuries. The woman sustained bruises and injuries to her abdomen and lower limbs. She received initial treatment and was transported to Rambam Hospital in Haifa for further care.
Emergency paramedic Avi Boyar described the scene as "a very difficult road accident." He stated that the woman was trapped in one of the vehicles and was in moderate condition, while the man in the other vehicle suffered life-threatening injuries. Despite medical efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
