Goni Naor Joins Hapoel Ramat Gan from Maccabi Haifa
Midfielder Goni Naor has officially transferred to Hapoel Ramat Gan, the club announced. Naor, who was not in Maccabi Haifa's plans for the upcoming season, will reunite with former coach Masaï Dego. Naor played under Dego for 45 games at both Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Tel Aviv. Although Naor started as a defender in the Toto Cup due to a shortage of players, he was informed he could seek a new team. Last season, Naor was loaned to Larissa. Hapoel Ramat Gan currently has no points in the Premier League after losing their first three matches to Hapoel Tel Aviv, Hapoel Be'er Sheva, and Maccabi Haifa. The team also drew 3-3 with Beitar Jerusalem in the Toto Cup playoff round.
