Goni Naor Agrees to Join Hapoel Ramat Gan
Midfielder Goni Naor, 27, has reached an agreement with Hapoel Ramat Gan, the newly promoted team to the Israeli Premier League. Naor is not in the plans of Maccabi Haifa coach Ronny Levy and will move to the "Reds" after considering offers from other clubs, including Ironi Tiberias.
Last season, Naor was loaned to Greek club Larissa for the latter half of the season. This season, he only participated in one match for Maccabi Haifa, the Toto Cup Haifa derby. Naor's move follows that of Getaf Yablo, another Maccabi Haifa player who transferred to Hapoel Ramat Gan this summer.
Another potential transfer from Maccabi Haifa to Hapoel Ramat Gan, involving goalkeeper Sharif Keif, was reportedly halted due to an injury.
