Goni Naor Agrees to Join Hapoel Ramat Gan
Midfielder Goni Naor, 27, has reached an agreement with Hapoel Ramat Gan, the newly promoted team to the Israeli Premier League. Naor is not in the plans of Maccabi Haifa coach Ronny Levy and will move to the "Reds" after considering offers from other clubs, including Ironi Tiberias.
Last season, Naor was loaned to Greek club Larissa for the latter half of the season. This current season, he only participated in one match for Maccabi Haifa, the Toto Cup Haifa derby.
Naor is not the first player to move from Maccabi Haifa to Hapoel Ramat Gan this summer; Getachew Yibalo made a similar transfer. Another planned move, that of Sherif Keif to Hapoel Ramat Gan, was halted due to injury.
