Goni Naor Moves to Hapoel Ramat Gan from Maccabi Haifa

Midfielder Goni Naor has transferred to Hapoel Ramat Gan, as first reported by Sport Channel. Naor, who was not in Maccabi Haifa's plans for the upcoming season, will reunite with his former coach, Masa Dego, for the 2026-27 season. Although Naor started as a center-back in the Toto Cup due to a shortage of defenders at Maccabi Haifa, he was informed he could seek a new team. Last season, Naor was loaned to Larissa, and he will now play under Dego again. Naor has played 45 games under Dego, who previously coached him at both Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Tel Aviv.

Hapoel Ramat Gan has yet to secure any points in the Premier League, having lost their first three matches against Hapoel Tel Aviv, Hapoel Be'er Sheva, and Maccabi Haifa. The team also drew 3-3 with Beitar Jerusalem in the Toto Cup playoff. Naor's move to Ramat Gan was facilitated by his agents, Adam Kidan and Gilad Katzav.
